“We are all delighted with the
overall finish of the Redi-Rock wall”
is the call from the local residents
at King Edwards Court in Hyde,
after discovering the aesthetically
pleasing look of Redi-Rock
modular walling.
Bardsley Construction with
Tameside Council have developed
the site, which was once occupied
by a joinery business, for housing
and after hearing there was need
for a 7.5m tall retaining wall, Craig
Evans, CPM’s Trading Manager and John
O’Gara, CPM’s Specification Manager
began discussions to see if a Redi-Rock
modular wall would be suitable.
The contractor soon found he had
more land to work with by using CPM’s
Redi-Rock walling as it requires less
land footprint and offered a look that
would benefit the prestigious housing
development and keep local residents
happy as well as being quick and easy to
install.

With the project now nearing
completion, feedback has been very
positive with local Tameside resident, Mr
Daniel Nelson commenting: “we are all
delighted with the overall finish of the Redi-
Rock wall, the housing estate now benefits
from this with an overall visually pleasing
finish compared to the previous ageing/
Victorian look it had before”.
