1. INTRODUCTION
In our school, each course it's a challenge. We want to offer our students the
best possible education. The continuous reflection and evaluation of our
daily work helps us to detect possibilities for our enrichment of our
educational project "We Are Growing". That is why year after year we
launch innovative initiatives that contribute to its improvement, facilitating the
maximum development of the capabilities of our students.
With this spirit we get involved in the implementation of Gardner's multiple
intelligences. Now, after two years of preparation of the teaching teachers
and adaptation of the facilities and equipment we can say that we are more
than ready to take the path of early childhood education with a project that
will do wonderful things with the learning of the little ones.
In this magazine we have captured what we are, which is nothing more than
what we do. It is a compilation of the most relevant activities that opt for a
comprehensive education based on the application of multiple intelligence.
The small steps we take in our day to day, collected in these pages, become
great advances thanks to the excellent work of our professionals.
2. OUR EDUCATION PRINCIPLES
INDIVIDUALIZATION
Offering an adequate
response to the different
motivations,
needs,
interests and cognitive
style of each child. Each
child has their own rhythm
of development and
constitutes their learning
according to their
experiences.
GLOBALIZATION
Present knowledge in a
dynamic and interrelated way.
The planning of teaching and
practice will not treat the areas
in an independent way if not in
a related way.
SIGNIFICANT LEARNING
Establish relationships between
what is known and what has to be
learned. Learning must be
motivating and connect with the
interests of children
THE GAME
Through the game, children approach
the knowledge of the environment
that surrounds them. Because of its
motivating, creative and pleasant nature,
playful activity is of decisive importance
in early childhood education.
3. WE RECYCLE
We take into account the care of the land and pollution. That is
why we teach from an early age the importance of recycling
and respecting the environment. Through naturalistic
intelligence, we use all kinds of opportunities related to nature
to perform activities in our garden or with real fruits and
vegetables. In class we always have recycle bins: paper, plastic
or organic.
WE MAKE
FUN GAMES
TO LEARN
TO RECYCLE
WE CREATE
RECYCLED
MATERIALS
3.Ask for things please and give thanks.
4.Speak without shouting.
5. Throw the papers to the paper bin.
6. Sit down correctly.
7.We share the material and the toys.
8.We listen to our classmates.
9. We say hello when we arrive and goodbye when we
leave.
6. THE TIGER WHO CAME TO TEA
Once there was alittle girl called Sophie, and she was having tea with
her mummy, in thekitchen. Suddenly there was a ring at the door.
Sophie's mummy said, "I wonder who that can be.It can't be the
milkman because he came this morning. And it can't be the boy from
the grocer because this isn't the day comes. And it can't be Daddy
bcause he's got his key. We'd better open the door and see.
Sophie opened the door, and there was a bit, furry, stripy tiger. The
tiger said, "Excuse me, but I'm very hungry. Do you think I could have
tea with you?
So the tiger came into the kitchen and sat down at the table.
Sophie's mummy said, "would you like a sandwich?" But the tiger
didn't take just one sandwich. He took all the sandwiches on the
plate. Owp!
And he still looked hungry, so Sophie passed him the buns.
So they went out in the
dark, and all the street lamps
were lit, and all the cars
had their lights on, and they
Walked down the road
to a café.
And they had a lovely
supper with sausages and
chips and ice cream.
But again the tiger didn't eat just one bun. He ate all the buns
on the dish, and all the cake. So Sophie's mummy said, "Would
you like a drink?" And the tiger drank all the milt in the milk jug
and all the tea in the teapot.
And then he looked round the kitchen to see what else he could
find.He ate all the food in the fridge, and he drank all the milk,
and all the orange juice.
Then he said, "Thank you for my nice tea. I think I'd better go
now." And he went.
Shopie's mummy said. "I don't know what to do, I've got nothing
for Daddy's supper, the tiger has eaten it all."
Just then Sophie's daddy came home. So Sophie and her
mummy told him what had happened, and how the tiger had
eaten all the food and drunk all the drink. And Sophie's daddy
said, "I know what we'll do. We'll put on our coats and go to a
café".
7. OUR PET: MAX
We have a very special pet in our
class. It's a puppy called Max, it's a
very attractive stuffed toy for children.
Many times to do the different
activities in class, we invite Max to
participate with us, doing this
motivates the children a lot.
We believe that Max offers a warmer
climate in class, children even have it
and want to play with him every hour.
It is the pet that is part of our project, it
also appears in different reading and
writing activities and other subjects.
WEEKEND WITH MAX
But undoubtedly, what children most
expect, is when they take Max
home with the traveler book, in
which each child will write with their
parents all the weekend that has
passed Max there. They will also
put some photos of the activities
carried out.
It's a good way for the child to take
responsibility for taking care of Max,
and in fact, they do it wonderfully
We celebrate every year the sports day, it is usually at
the beginning of spring, when the weather is better, so
we can go out to the school garden and enjoy outdoor
sports activities. Children spend a day full of games and
activities on the move while we teach the importance of
following healthy habits and a balanced diet
From the school we support
the children to choose a sport
