6 A Lidl extra Golborne could soon be home to a new Lidl store if planning permission goes ahead. The land at Bridge Street could soon house a brand new Lidl store with associated car parking and landscaping following the demolition of an existing building. If planning permission is granted, pedestrian and vehicle access will be in place for the store. As well as 96 car parking spaces; four cycle spaces; and eight disabled spaces will be created for the site. Proposed opening times for the store will be: Monday-Saturday, 7am-11pm, and Sunday and Bank Holidays from 10am-4pm. As the site is in a Flood Zone, special measures will need to be taken beforehand. We would be looking to provide sufficient attenuation on site (Circa 600 to 800m3) to allow this reduced discharge to be accommodated without flooding.” Earn extra cash!
