Training included auto extrication, EMT in-service, and trench rescue training. The Training Officer attended a class in Charleston for RAE Gas Meters, enabling the MFD to repair and correctly calibrate meters on a monthly basis, ensuring the equipment is in a constant state of readiness. The department participated in five events this month with Greenbrier Elementary, the Sunshine House, the Cub Scouts, and Explorer Post training. At the Mauldin Egg Drop, 610 children went through the fire safety houses.
