Because we want to help you improve your position in this complex environment, we are introducing a fresh, simplified approach to our personal lines business. We want to give you more opportunity to build relationships with customers, more options to suit their preferences and an easier way to connect with everything we have to offer. Here’s a glance at what’s ahead for our personal lines business when quoting goes live June 8 on PolicyCenter with a new business effective date of July 1 or later: Introducing One Product Our new portfolio of products gives customers choices they want and makes it easier for you to build and strengthen relationships. The Nationwide Academy Playbook April 16 th Communication Introducing PolicyCenter PolicyCenter – our new platform for quoting and servicing personal lines business – has been implemented in eight other states. Benefits of this system, which is also used by many other carriers, include: • Real-time communication, amendments and changes between the company and agency • Automatic report ordering and increased underwriting policy bypass rates • eSignature capability integrated within PolicyCenter Prepare for changes Please be on the lookout for upcoming training opportunities that will be highlighted in upcoming communications. In the meantime, I encourage you to attend one of our upcoming Personal Lines Overview – PolicyCenter Intro & Overview sessions to learn more about the changes and what training will be offered. Click here to register. Dates to remember Effective April 7 and until PolicyCenter is online June 8, you will not be able to quote a new policy with an effective date of May 1 or later. Please follow current quoting procedures for new business with effective dates prior to May 1. In-force policies will transfer to PolicyCenter beginning with August renewal effective dates. Moving forward You’ll hear more about our transformation in the coming weeks from your sales manager.
