See a special exhibit of art which hasn't been viewed by the public in many years. Artists include the well known Ira Chaffee Goodell and Ruth Bascom, as well as local and itinerant artists from 19th century Belchertown. There will also be a display of photos documenting the move of the Washington District Schoolhouse to the Stone House Museum grounds. Clay Mates Art Cafe 3 Stadler Street J Mandala Canvas Painting 10:00 - 1:00 pm Cost: $20 Gretchen Holesovsky will instruct participants how to paint a mandala on a mini canvas using assorted tools to create the beautiful dot patterns. Belchertown Family Center 51 State Street L Tiny Artists: Interactive Art Activities & Exhibit 1:00 - 4:00 pm Cost: free; donations welcome The Belchertown Family Center will be hosting a painting activity and art exhibit that will give our tiniest visitors the opportunity to showcase their artistic talents. Paint on canvas using toy car tires, marbles, pipe cleaners, sponges, and different types of brushes, then display the results! Light refreshments available.
