To Whom It May Concern,
My name is Luis Ortiz. I am a graphic designer living in the beautiful Teton Valley, Idaho.
I am currently working as a freelance designer, looking for opportunities in a consistent,
creative environment, where I can contribute with my diverse skills and grow as a designer.
For the last five years I worked as manager and lead graphic designer at Peak Printing, in Driggs,
ID. During this time, I was able to gain experience with Adobe CC, creating designs for the
public, such as advertisements, invitations, and photo editing. I had the opportunity to help
numerous local businesses create an identity through the creation of logos, posters, and
stationaries. In addition, I specialized in different types of printing equipment, such as high
production, large format, and architectural printers. Part of my responsibilities also included
maintaining inventory, and ordering supplies. On a daily basis, I worked with walk-in customers,
e-mail requests, and phone call orders.
My problem solving skills and ability to multi-task have proven effective when dealing with
especially demanding times of the year, such as winter holidays and summer season. I enjoy
working with a team, as well as on my own and under no supervision. I have proven to be a
successful leader and teacher.
During my personal time, I like to take to the great outdoors. You can find me hiking the trails
or camping with my family and friends. The accomplishment that I feel most proud of is being
the first member of my family to attend college, earning my degree in Graphic Design, and
being able to pursue my career.
