Proposed Enrolment Scheme
Home Zone changes
Effective 1 January 2019
In order to avoid the likelihood of future overcrowding, the
establishment board of Lincoln South Primary School proposes to
adopt an enrolment scheme, effective from the date of opening on 1
January 2019.
Consequential amendment to the enrolment scheme of Lincoln
Primary School is also proposed to take effect from this date.
The Lincoln South new enrolment scheme and consequent
amendments to Lincoln Primary School’s enrolment scheme are now
open for community feedback until 30 November 2017.
Please note the important information below:
• Most boundary roads may refer to both sides of the road with some
exceptions. Check the written description of the zone which sits
alongside the zone map.
• Lincoln Primary School enrolment scheme will include a ‘grandparenting’
clause for families of currently ‘in-zone’ enrolled
students, who find themselves ‘out of zone’ at the commencement
of this scheme. The criteria around this arrangement are noted in
the written enrolment scheme.
The enrolment scheme, which includes a precise description of the
home zone, may be viewed at the school office of Lincoln Primary
School, on the school website or a copy can be requested from
lincolnsouthschool@gmail.com.
In accordance with section 11H of the Education Act 1989, the boards
of each school are now undertaking community consultation.
Feedback comment to be received by 30 November 2017 is
welcomed by the boards of the two schools as below:

Lincoln University is New Zealand’s specialist land-based university – with
research and teaching focused on three global challenges, namely to: feed
the world, protect the future, live well.
We are on the hunt for a reliable, honest and hard working person to assist
on a casual, on call basis, on the Silverwood Farm during busy times.
The Silverwood Farm is a 420ha irrigated property, grazing approximately
3500 head of stock and based in Hororata, Canterbury. We need someone who
can hit the ground running and assist with general faming tasks such as animal
welfare, handling stock, cropping, weed and pest control, basic repairs and
maintenance, with a willingness to take on other farming activities as required.
You will preferably have 1-2 years’ experience in farm related roles. You’ll also
have a proven track record of enthusiasm and punctuality, however, full training
will be given.
