There is also a supermarket, accommodation, hardware store, service station and many services. The retail offerings are set to certainly change soon with the recent development of both the Rosemerryn and Vernon Drive retail precincts promising to bring more retail and service industries to the town. The Lincoln Farmers’ Market, held between 10am and 1pm every Saturday, is also a popular destination for residents where they can purchase everything from baked goods to plants, knitted items to cheeses. Lincoln University doesn’t just provide tertiary education to its students, it also opens its doors to the wider community with the book shop, café and Lincoln University Recreation Centre also providing valuable services.
