area who can provide assistance to our <strong>Selwyn</strong> <strong>Times</strong> Advertising<br />
Account Executive.<br />
You will need to be an outstanding communicator who is<br />
organised. If you can multi-task, think on your feet and be great<br />
at building relationships and keeping a professional manner at all<br />
times, this is the job for you. You will have the ability to stay ahead<br />
of the game and work well under pressure.<br />
Tasks and duties:<br />
• Advising clients of when their copy/imagery for advertising is due<br />
and answering any questions<br />
• Completing layouts for features<br />
• Work within our Synergy Booking System including the booking<br />
of advertising when required<br />
• Providing a liaison between the production team and clients<br />
• Use of our client database system<br />
• Organise writers for features and ensure copy and photos are<br />
delivered on time<br />
For this role you will need to be competent in Excel, Word and<br />
Outlook. You will have your own reliable transport and a NZ Driver’s<br />
Licence. Star Media will provide you with a laptop and give you the<br />

Residents have asked for the<br />
sign to be insta led a the<br />
intersection of State Highway 73<br />
and Waimakariri Gorge Rd to<br />
prevent future crashes.<br />
Already two serious crashes have<br />
b en recorded a the intersection<br />
this year, one a fatal.<br />
Fox Glacier man Ioane Sitivi, 36,<br />
died from injuries he sustained when<br />
two vehicles crashed in January.<br />
He was one of eight people hurt<br />
in the crash. He and another person<br />
were critica ly injured, while<br />
two others were moderately injured<br />
and four had minor injuries.<br />
In February, a sport utility vehicle<br />
failed to give way and was hit<br />
by a truck. One person sustained<br />
serious injuries while the other had<br />
minor injuries.<br />
