Being able to personally source and supply our<br />
customers with exclusive wines from Italy is a huge<br />
pleasure to be a part of. Each wine has been personally<br />
sourced by myself. I have shaken the hand of each<br />
winemaker, bringing the local treasure of Sardinia to<br />
our clients.<br />
Our range of reds are a variety of rich and bold wines,<br />
to fruity and spicy numbers. A lot of this is down to<br />
the blending, with most Sardinian wines blended with<br />
Cabernet Sauvignon or Syrah, having a more rounded<br />
feel. All wines that are 100 per cent of a specific variety<br />
are what we have found in being the ‘perfect example’<br />
of that type of wine. Here are some fantastic examples<br />
of our diverse range:<br />
Reds to be social with:<br />
Cagnulari, Chessa – An exclusive<br />
wine, that provides an excellent dark<br />
cherry nose with a velvety liquorice<br />
finish. There is a sense of richness, but<br />
the pleasant balance of this wine makes<br />
it very easy to be enjoyed on its own.<br />
The perfect way to round off your day.<br />
Rich in history:<br />
Giuseppe Sedilesu – A winemaker<br />
of tradition and pride. We<br />
were informed of the techniques<br />
used by Giuseppe Sedilesu<br />
when asking around with the<br />
local people, on the search for<br />
hidden gems. This wine, named<br />
after the wine-maker himself,<br />
is only produced after a perfect<br />
year, showing how passionate<br />
the producer is to create the<br />
best he can. This is 100 per<br />
cent Cannonau (which is said to<br />
increase longevity), aged in oak<br />
and then in the bottle. This wine<br />
really is a great example of the<br />
result of hard work and tradition.<br />

Wines that work wonders<br />
with food:<br />
Geo, Tenute Delogu – Here is a wine<br />
from our debut shipment, a blend of<br />
Cannonau, Cabernet Sauvignon and<br />
Syrah. This blend creates an incredibly<br />
warming effect, lightened by spice. A red<br />
of this stature is best enjoyed with what<br />
I call ‘slow cooker style’ food. Meaty<br />
dishes that have a rich, earthy taste like<br />
braised lamb shanks.<br />
