There’s a fine line between life and death and luck can often play a big part of what side of the ledger you come out on. In this case the woman in the passenger seat had plenty of it. The driver has a very chequered past and is behind bars until his next court appearance. He was clocked at 180km/h on State Highway 1 as he motored towards Rolleston. He is lucky to be only facing driving and a firearms charge. But for good luck he could taken out another motorist or pedestrian at the dog park before he came to a spectacular end. – Barry Clarke School production set to take off Rehearsals at Lincoln High have been a cascade of colour and overwhelming sound Page 16 community events Celebrate the Maori New Year Make and fly a kite as part of the Matariki celebrations on June 16.
