Copper <strong>co</strong>loured with citrus, caramel <strong>and</strong> fresh cut grass on the nose.<br />
Smooth has a dry bitterness on the palette, a full mouth-feel <strong>and</strong> a light,<br />
slightly crisp finish. It’s a firm favourite with the folk of South Wales.<br />

A NEW TAKE ON THE WELSH CAKE<br />
Inspired by our favourite treat, we tried adding a mix of oats <strong>and</strong> raisins to<br />
a brew. The result is a rich, dark, <strong>and</strong> chewy stout with a sweet,<br />
vinous character offset against the biscuity aspect of oats <strong>and</strong> barley.<br />
Every sip reminds us of fresh Welsh Cakes, straight from the griddle.<br />

Named after Captain S<strong>co</strong>tt’s ship Terra Nova, which set sail from<br />
Cardiff docks for the South Pole in 1910. Like the weather she<br />
endured, Terra Nova is best enjoyed <strong>co</strong>ld.<br />
TASTING NOTES<br />
A pale, crisp beer brewed with citra <strong>and</strong> elderado hops giving a brilliant<br />
undertone of citrus, pear <strong>and</strong> melon.<br />
