One of the city’s most popular Asian restaurants is<br />
under new ownership, and has a new name plus<br />
a new menu offering customers the opportunity<br />
to enjoy a delicious selection of traditional and<br />
modern Vietnamese dishes prepared by the<br />
two Vietnamese chefs. Now called Vietnam<br />
Kitchen, and located at 394 Riccarton<br />
Road, Church Corner, opposite<br />

For the very first time in<br />
Christchurch, Vietnam<br />
kitchen is offering “Roll<br />
Your Own” fresh summer<br />
rolls. <strong>The</strong> authentic way<br />
to eat Vietnamese spring<br />
rolls. Customers choose<br />
the ingredients from a<br />
selection of fillings such as pork<br />
belly, prawns, smoked salmon, fresh<br />
vegetables and herbs and roll them in rice paper.<br />
<strong>The</strong> ingredients can also be pre-ordered so they<br />
are ready when customers arrive.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Chefs pride themselves in listening to their<br />
customers’ needs whether you are vegan, gluten<br />
free or just don’t like the taste of coriander.<br />
Vietnam Kitchen will endeavour to meet your<br />
dietary needs whilst retaining fresh authentic<br />
flavours that is Vietnamese cuisine. For large<br />
groups, they also offer an extensive three-course<br />
set menu with a wide selection of dishes to suit<br />
everyone’s taste. Other favourites on the new<br />
menu are Hot and Sour Fish Soup, Herbal Duck,<br />
Raw Beef Noodle Soup, Sticky Rice with Fried<br />
Chicken, Quail Eggs and Pork Floss, and<br />
Noodle Salad.<br />
On board are an amazing group of<br />
staff that are fluent in Hindi, Lao,<br />
Vietnamese, Chinese, but most<br />
importantly English, so you<br />
never need to worry about being<br />
understood.<br />
Vietnam Kitchen is fully licensed,<br />
offering a selection of favourite wine<br />
varieties and Vietnamese beers, Saigon,<br />
and Triple 3 – widely known as ‘Bah Bah Bah’.<br />
It also has a BYO wine license.<br />
Opening hours are Wednesday through to<br />
Monday, 11.30am till 3pm and 5pm till 10pm.<br />
Tuesday 5pm till 10pm.<br />
