LOMBADA TO BELGIUM
1
'Let's Conquer Technology for our Students' is one of the projects
under the Erasmus + Program that the EB1 / PE of Lombada da
Ponta do Sol participates in.
Five schools from five countries participated in this project, from
Italy, Romania, Turkey, Belgium (coordinating country), and from
Portugal (Madeira) where the project coordinator Rosa Luisa
Gaspar and by the English teacher, Natália Santos, and were
gathered in Belgium, in the city of Neufchateau between January
15 and 19 for the first transnational meeting of the project where
the next joint activities of the project were defined.
The project aims to establish a successful partnership between a
diversity of schools and regions with the horizontal objective of
open and innovative practices for a digital age by promoting the
acquisition of skills in terms of efficient use of technology, as this
coherent use of technology in classroom can teach children
high-level thinking skills that they will need in the future.

More than that, our project aims to meet the
partners' needs in terms of addressing issues
such as: integration of minority groups enabling
intercultural dialogue (all partners), improving the
quality of teaching methods and materials, in
order to attract students (all partners), improving
student communication and interpersonal skills
(all partners).
We begin with the idea that the successful
student, and therefore future adult success, must
be confident and creative, with literacy and
numeracy critical thinking and ICT skills, as well
as personal and social, ethical and intercultural
ability understanding.

EB1 / PE LOMBADA RECEIVES SECOND
MOBILITY ERASMUS + AT SCHOOL
The second mobility of the project 'Let's
Conquer technology for our students',
which took place last week, from 23 to
27, "had a very positive balance, taking
into account the initiatives carried out",
emphasizes Rosa Luísa Gaspar, the
responsible teacher. "The proposed
objectives have been achieved and some
have exceeded expectations, in the
acceptability and adherence of all
stakeholders," he emphasizes.
Students and teachers from the
countries Belgium, Romania, Italy and
Turkey have developed several activities
in the EB1 / PE of Lombada - Ponta do
Sol, the host school of this mobility.

This is an Erasmus + Key Action 2
project in the area of cooperation
and exchange of good practices, a
strategic partnership between the
five schools in the five participating
countries, whose main objective is
to enable schools to develop and
strengthen networks, their capacity
to operate at transnational level,
sharing and confronting ideas,
supporting the exchange of good
practices and methods.
It is in this context that the 'Let's Conquer
technology for our students' project intends
to use ICT applications and is therefore' a
pretext and a context for students to unite
and collaborate, because the approach to
learning with new technologies and
promotion of the acquisition of digital skills
will thus become a catalyst for innovation in
partner schools ", says the teacher ponta-
solense.
The mobility began with the reception to
the partners with the presentation, by the
students of a tradition of the zone that is
the Holy Spirit, of the flag raising and
respective hymns and of a play.

Workshops such as 'LAB
VR360º', 'Cubetto',
'Studio Stop Motion'
were held during the
week. These were invited
by invited professors, Luis
Gaspar, Rodolfo Pinto
and Vanda Franco and
'AcitveInspire' and
'Animation' of Belgium -
Annie Lambermont and
Olivier Maissin, not to
mention the work
meetings for the mid-
term evaluation of the
project and preparation
for the next mobility, in
Romania in May, where
five students and three
teachers from the EB1 /
PE of Lombada - Ponta
do Sol will attend.

In addition to this mobility,
the school also received
three teachers from
Bulgaria, one of them,
Evegenyia Mihova,
ambassador eTwinning,
were doing Job
shadowing 'Using ICT and
outdoor activities in
kindergarten', a key action
1 of the Erasmus +
program.
"The programming was
only possible thanks to the
commitment and
involvement of the team,"
says the coordinator,
Professor Rosa Luísa
Gaspar, noting also the
importance of
"partnerships established"
for the success of this
mobility.

Şcoala Gimnazială Alexandru Depărăţeanu, in Romania,
during the week of 19 to 26 of May, among other partners, a
Portuguese delegation from EB1 / Pe da Lombada da Ponta
do Sol, within the scope of the project "Let's Conquer
Technology for our Students" under the Erasmus + program.
Representing Madeira, Célia Miguel (director of the
educational institution), Natália Santos and Graciela Sousa,
and five students from the 3rd and 4th years of schooling.

Recently, Lombada's school
received the partners in its
school. This project has the
following countries: Belgium,
Romania, Italy, Turkey and
Portugal and has a horizontal

innovative practices for a
digital age, promoting the
acquisition of skills in terms of
efficient use of technology,
