WHAT WE HEAR ! The $1 trip levy is allowed to be added to the total on the fare box (and therefore will really be $1.10 incl GST). Essential Services Commission will make their determination on the maximum fare review for unbooked trips in September 2018, but it is looking like we won’t have an increase. Uber Black drivers now have to show their insurance details to be able to continue Black work. Not just private insurance - commercial insurance including $10 million for Public Liability. Transport for Victoria (TfV) says that it’s all too hard and too costly to have vehicles supply safety restraints for children under 7. Why? Safety is paramount - especially for our children! Vehicle Insurance is still not being made mandatory by Transport for Victoria or the TSC. So, it is up to the individual networks/operators to ensure that they have sufficient insurance cover on their vehicles. has a redesigned logo.
