Kitchen in the Garden is based at Cedar Nursey and located near Cobham in Surrey, just down the road from Effingham

Junction and East Horsley. Established in 1986, Cedar Nursery is an independent, family run Plant and Outdoor Living Centre

in the heart of Surrey, serving consumers and garden professionals for over 30 years.

Our outdoor cooking solutions enable more time to be spent outside, getting the most out of your garden or patio. With this

in mind, we aim to offer the widest range of outdoor cooking equipment in the South East from the world’s best manufacturers.

Our range includes freestanding BBQs, Outdoor Kitchens, Wood-fired Ovens, Fire pits, Kamados and Braais, amongst other

outdoor cooking items.

Come and visit us! We’re a 40 minute drive from central London via the A3, or our closest railway station is Effingham Junction

(0.5 miles from Cedar Nursery), where we will happily come and collect you (please telephone in advance) - Effingham Junction

is a 35 minute journey from Clapham Junction.

Choose a Bespoke Kitchen

A built-in fitted outdoor kitchen offers integrated appliances, storage, and

counter space, as well as the most flexibility in terms of matching the kitchen's

materials and style to its surroundings. It is ideal for larger layouts or as part of

a whole garden makeover.

Choose an Island Kitchen

An outdoor island kitchen is a smaller, more compact version of a complete

need to cook delicious meals outdoors, but are more suited to smaller outdoor

than a bespoke design. If you want a flexible set up, movable

Outdoor Kitchen Components

For many people, an outdoor kitchen represents the height of entertaining luxury. You may imagine

yourself flipping burgers to the applause of your friends or sipping wine while a pizza bakes over a hot

fire. Whether you are dreaming of a rustic pizza oven or a sleek line of stainless steel components, adding

an outdoor kitchen can extend your living and entertaining space substantially.

When you reach the planning stage for your new kitchen, there are several important considerations to

keep in mind. Considering how you will use the space, what components you want to add and how it will

all hold up to the elements will help you select a functional long lasting kitchen.

The Grill

Modern BBQ grills offer a dazzling array of technological additions to the classic barbecue - that old rusty,

impossible to light burner is a thing of the past! New innovations, most notably, include infrared searing

1. CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT (standard)

The first step is to understand your needs and desires. We seek to

appreciate how you will use your outdoor kitchen, what type of

dishes you enjoy to serve, or would wish to and this is will help to

decide upon the list of components and products you will need to

complete your project. Your outdoor kitchen may be one element

of a wider garden and landscape design, should you wish.

2. DESIGN (standard for bespoke kitchens)

Having understood your needs, and gained an insight into your

preferred style and materials, and after viewing the layout of your

garden, we will create a 2D computer aided design. This will allow

us to establish a list of materials and provide provisional cost

estimates.

3. VISUALISATION (charged for)

As a final stage of the design process, we can, if wanted, move to

a 3D visualisation of the design. This is an incredibly lifelike tour of

the final project outcome. It allows you to see the design as it

would appear in your actual garden including materials and scale,

so enabling you to see what you’ll get, and of course to tweak and

amend the plan until perfect, before a block is laid, or a hole dug.

Building your oneQ Kitchen Island

ONEQ EXAMPLE LAYOUTS

Why not add side shelves to your basic modules, in black or

stainless steel, to rest or store your cooking utensils or BBQ

condiments. Alternatively you could have a twin shelf unit that sits

inside the ‘Standard Leg’ unit.

Maybe opt for the oneQ ‘Connect XL’ package that extends

between two ‘Standard legs’ to create extra preparation or serving

space? If you don’t like the idea of open units then oneQ provide

front panels that can be hung on any sides of the legs to shield

the legs and gas bottles from view. You can also add a side or

twin shelf to create extra storage space.

Customising your oneQ Kitchen

Once you have created your basic oneQ kitchen island structure,

you can customise it with all the accessories you wish from the

extensive range that oneQ provides. This includes; an authentic

bamboo chopping board, the oneQ “Ice”, which can be used as a

salad bowl or a wine cooler, and an attachment that holds kebab

skewers for creating delicious, evenly cooked kebabs.

Side components and stainless steel boxes can be added for extra

storage space for herbs and BBQ tools. oneQ provide many further

cooking accompaniments and accessories, such as the ‘Tame’

which can be placed under the grill for perfect slow cooking.

All these extras may be added during the initial design of your

Outdoor Island Kitchens

An outdoor island kitchen is usually a smaller, more compact version of a complete custom outdoor kitchen, with all the equipment

coming from one manufacturer. Islands can still include everything you need to cook delicious meals outdoors, but are more suited

to smaller outdoor spaces, or for those who do not want a full outdoor kitchen but still want an outdoor entertainment unit.

Choosing prefabricated units rather than having an outdoor kitchen custom-designed cuts down on time and cost because the

design work is already done for you. Brand options vary but you can choose from stacked stone, porcelain, tile or stucco to create

the outdoor kitchen that looks best with your existing space. And, whilst not designed to be moved on a regular basis, if you

relocate, your kitchen can come too!

Fuelled by wood pellets, these grills infuse foods with

Quan’s goal in making their range of

Barbecue Heaters was not only to make

Quan knows that burning wood is quite

The top plate of the Quan system is made of
