Dr. Holland, Dr. Healy and the Neurosciences<br />
Institute at CHS NorthEast performed the first<br />
robotic assisted neurosurgery case utilizing<br />
the ExcelsiusGPS Robot (pictured at left).<br />
The robot is used in minimally invasive spine<br />
surgery to optimize patient care by combining the benefits of navigation and robotics in one<br />
technology. We are excited that we can offer this technology at NorthEast to our patients!<br />
FOUNDATION REACHES $1 MILLION<br />
IN INTERNAL GRANTS<br />
The NorthEast Foundation "Prize Patrol"<br />
made up of Foundation board members,<br />
hospital administration and Foundation<br />
staff, surprised 10 departments waving<br />
pompoms with official internal grant<br />
approval letters in tow totaling $153,223.<br />
The Foundation has now awarded over $1<br />
million in internal grants funding to CHS<br />
NorthEast.<br />
HEART AND VASCULAR TOWER SET TO OPEN JUNE 2019<br />
The topping off ceremony was held on June 7 for the new<br />
heart and vascular tower at CHS NorthEast. Teammates in the<br />
hospital signed a beam that was hoisted into place, and filled a<br />
time capsule with mementos from several departments to be<br />
opened on the hospital’s 100th Anniversary. Congratulations<br />
to Cardiac Services, one of the service lines supported by the<br />
Foundation, on the new tower set to open in June of 2019.<br />

from every pint purchased will be donated to the NorthEast<br />

FOUNDATION FASHION WEEK – The 38th Annual Fashion<br />
Show benefiting the NorthEast Foundation will be held<br />
Tuesday, October 23. Mark the date on your calendar and stay<br />
