“So first, I am just gonna ask you your name and your role in the company that you work for.“<br />
<strong>Enzo</strong> <strong>Bertolini</strong>:<br />
“So my name is <strong>Enzo</strong> <strong>Bertolini</strong>, and I am working for Ferrero, the candies and the confectionery producers. And I<br />
am appointed to the role of the <strong>Group</strong> <strong>CIO</strong>.“<br />
<strong>Interview</strong>er:<br />
“So in your role as <strong>Group</strong> <strong>CIO</strong> at Ferrero, you were recently facing a business challenge. Um, can you describe<br />
that business challenge to us?”<br />
<strong>Enzo</strong> <strong>Bertolini</strong>:<br />
“Yeah, sure. So, uh, the major business problem that we are facing, uh, starting from the 2000s to now is exactly<br />
what, many other companies are facing. And so is the way in which, uh, we can compete in a global scale, in<br />
order to able to reach, for instance, uh, the emerging market from one side, uh, or to came out of, our niche cash<br />
cow countries and, uh, and other business challenge. Very, very interesting for us is to transform us from a, a<br />
local niche of products in, in a more global brand, in all over the world.”<br />
<strong>Interview</strong>er:<br />
“Yeah, Ferrero, right. Try to say Ferrero. So, as a <strong>CIO</strong>, you described, some of the business challenges that<br />
Ferrero was facing. Um, but how was <strong>Accenture</strong> able to help you with those business challenges?”<br />
<strong>Enzo</strong> <strong>Bertolini</strong>:<br />
“So, related to this business challenge, uh, the company started a program - a huge program in 2003 in order to<br />
transform also the organization and the information system that support processes in the group. And, so, uh,<br />
Ferrero, um… Sorry. Uh, <strong>Accenture</strong> became a partner of us during this long journey that starting in 2003 and is<br />
not, uh, deal, uh, finished.”<br />
<strong>Interview</strong>er:<br />
“And so that… We have been partnering with you for a long time. Hopefully this is a good relationship? Can you<br />
describe our teaming?”<br />
<strong>Enzo</strong> <strong>Bertolini</strong>:<br />
“Yes, the relationship, between Ferrero and <strong>Accenture</strong> is quite good. Uh, we start from the information system<br />
point of view. Recently we sign a BPO, outsourcing a contractor related to the order… Um, sorry. To the…<br />
Ahhh, sorry.”<br />
