Step1: Remove Loose Paper from the Tray
If there is any loose paper in the tray, remove it carefully. It is advised

Step2: Clear Paper Jam from the Printer’s Back Side
Power Off the printing device then removes the power cord.
Remove the printing accessory from the back side. Carefully pull
out the papers.
Check the rollers whether they are revolving then clear the paper
jammed from inside the device.
Step3: Clean the Rollers
Take a cotton cloth, dip into in water then wipe the rollers.
Pat them dry. Reattach the duplexer and push it little forward till it
fixes in its place.
Reconnect the power cord and switch on the power button.
Load paper on a paper tray and take a test printout.
If the error still appears then reset your HP printer. Resetting the
printer will restore the original setting or the printer and also
disconnect the device from all wireless networks. This will help you to
