MATERIAL CODE PROPERTIES
Acetal A Acetal is a crystalline thermoplastic polymer material.
Characteristically, Acetal has excellent tensile strength,
stiffness, surface hardness and
chemical resistance.
It has excellent flexural memory and property retention
when subjected to repeated loading. The normal shortterm
use temperature is –40°F to +270°F (-40°C to
+132°C).
Acetal is recommended for high performance
applications. Physical properties remain consistent across
a wide range of weather conditions.
Nylon N Nylon is a thermoplastic polyamide resin. This material
maintains good tensile strength, chemical resistance,
stiffness and flexural memory. Nylon is excellent in high
temperature applications. The normal short-term use
temperature range is –40°F to +390°F (-40°C to +199°C).
Nylon is however, a hydroscopic resin, therefore, physical
properties will vary as the relative humidity changes.
When dry, tensile strength is higher and impact is lower.
When wet, tensile strength is lower and impact strength is
higher.
Polypropylene P Polypropylene Webbing is manufactured from a UV
stable yarn to minimise fading. This gives the yarn great
strength, wear and durability.
Acetal Special
Grade
(Delrin 500T)
T
Acetal Special Grade is a toughened Acetal which
possesses all of the positive attributes of standard Acetal
and combines superior resistance to impact loads.
Designed to withstand the toughest of environments
and excessive treatment, Delrin 500T is recommended
for military applications, and personal load carriage in
particular.

Flame Retardant is a self extinguishing PA6 injection
moulding material (a variant of Nylon) which is Halogen
and Phosphorous free.
Buckles, Fasteners and associated accessories are generally made from one of two materials, Nylon or Acetal.

applications. They are a good accessory for
dog collars and clothing.
CLASSIC SIDE
RELEASE BUCKLE
This two-piece part buckle gives singlehanded
release and adjustment and is
designed to prevent accidental release.
WORLD RANGE & DUAL ADJUST
World Range Buckles offer a compact &
functional design, including a rib in the female
to increase crush resistance. Dual Adjust
version is available with a Dual Ladderloc
facility and gives a contoured profile.

SURFACE MOUNT
These are a three piece part incorporating
a body, latch and back plate. They are
designed for fixed surface mounting. The
female half of the buckle can be mounted
directly onto most types of material with a
thickness of 3-5mm.
CLIP TUCK BUCKLE SETS
Clip Tuck sets are made up of either 3 or 4 pieces. They clip to
webbing and fix in place offering a quick and easy fastening solution.
They are ideal for use on laptop cases, portfolios and satchels.

STANDARD TRIGLIDES
Triglides, otherwise known as three bar
adjuster buckles or three bar slides are for
adjusting straps on all applications.
EUROPA TRIGLIDES
The Europa Triglide provides length
adjustment on strap assemblies as well as
innovative styling. It has been designed with
teethed bar to increase load retention.
SLIMGLIDE (LOW
PROFILE) TRIGLIDE
The ITW Nexus Slimglide is discreet and
lightweight. The lower profile and smooth
action allows it to be used in applications
where the standard TG is unsuitable.

ACCESSORIES & SHOULDER PADS
SAFETY WHISTLE
These whistles conform to ISO 12402
standards and are capable of producing
over 100 decibels of sound to summon
help in emergency situations. They are
lightweight, non-corrosive and will float in
sea water.

SHOULDER PADS
The elastomer and rubber materials make
these products flexible and less likely to slip
whilst in application. They are designed to
give a good level of comfort to the user.

HEAVY DUTY CARRY HANDLE
A strong, ergonomic handle which is easy to sew or rivet onto
bags, boxes, etc. The soft material and finger grips make it a very
comfortable handle to use.
There is a length of webbing attached to each side of the handle,
which can be cut to the application.
LIGHTWEIGHT HANDLE WEBBING STRAP
This lightweight handle is 11cm in length and the webbing either side
measures 12.5cm. It has been produced using 15mm black webbing
and is used for a wide range of applications.
