SPONSORSHIP BROCHURE

KELOWNA CHIEFS JUNIOR HOCKEY

As a member of the Kootenay

International Junior Hockey League, the

Kelowna Chiefs Hockey Club is focused

on building long-term success from a

foundation of honesty, commitment and

contribution. We develop our community’s

future leaders through the game of

hockey by re-enforcing a reward system

that supports the empowerment of every

member of the team. The spirit, energy

and competitiveness of our athletes are

among the team’s greatest assets.

Every member of our organization is encouraged

to reach for their highest potential

while preparing for their future through

education and contribution to our community

as a positive role model. Established in

2010 in Kelowna, the Chiefs Junior Hockey

Club is committed to ensuring our players

are recognized by teams at higher levels

for their strong play and dedication to skill

development, leadership and competitiveness.

GENERAL

MANAGER

GRANT SHERIDAN

Being a long time supporter of hockey in

Kelowna at all levels, Grant was instrumental

in bringing the Chiefs to Kelowna. Grant

wanted to provide another level of hockey

in Kelowna so that local players could stay

here and play, while out of town players

could come to our great City to play hockey

and go to school. Through support from

local business partners, Kelowna Minor

Hockey, the Kelowna Rockets and all the

Chief’s volunteers, billets, and local fans, the

program continues to grow each year.

“The support we receive from the Community

is very much appreciated. We continually

call on local businesses and focus on

creating value for our Sponsors. Our sales

focus is simple for our corporate sponsors,

create a high return on investment by providing

an integrated marketing program

designed to promote their company to a

captive audience who share their passion

for this beloved game.”

Grant Sheridan

General Manager Kelowna Chiefs

DIRECTOR OF

HOCKEY OPERATIONS

JASON TANSEM

Growing up and going to school, playing

minor hockey, and having deep roots in

Kelowna, it is a natural fit to have Jason

as the Head Coach of the Kelowna Chiefs.

Jason has been involved with Hockey

his entire life as a Player, Coach, and

Association Head Coach and has a level

of passion and compete that he brings to

the team every day.

Jason has his own national magazine publishing

business right in Kelowna and understands

the importance of “Community”

and “Corporate Identity.” Jason will lead

his players by example, not only on the ice,

but during off-ice Community Events that

make our Team and Corporate Partners

stronger. Jason will be at various events,

schools and team functions representing

the Kelowna Chiefs, their players and our

valued Corporate Partners.

DIRECTOR OF

BUSINESS OPERATIONS

ALEX DRAPER

Having spent my entire life living in

Rutland, Alex is beyond excited to now be

the Director of Business Operations for the

Kelowna Chiefs. He played all his minor

hockey in the Rutland Arena, as well as

men’s hockey in his adult life. He looks

forward to connecting with the diehard

Chiefs’ fans and the amazing sponsors

that help keep the team on the ice. I want

our fans to walk away from the games

being completely entertained and receive

full value for their hard-earned dollars.

He prides himself on a strong work ethic

and pledges to all sponsors that he will

work tirelessly to promote their company

in the arena, on game nights and throug

social media. Without sponsors the

Chiefs wouldn’t exist, so their satisfaction

is paramount. Alex is honoured to call

Rutland home and he’s very excited to

start his career with the beloved Chiefs.

MENTAL HEALTH GAMES

SPONSORED by YOU!

Every season the Kelowna Chiefs host 4 Mental Health nights to help bring awareness

to our community. Each game the arena is packed and it is a very well received event

by fans, opposing teams and the business community. During our 2018 season we

had Sportsnet in the arena filming for a Hockey Day in Canada feature.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN SPONSORSHIP:

• Your company’s logo stitched onto the back of each jersey.

• We can add additional supplier patches to the jersey’s also.

• PA Announcements throughout the game.

• Official Sponsor for that game. You will be mentioned 30x on our radio ads on

game day.

• Signage in the lobby.

• 100 Tickets to give away. Clients in the past have emailed a link to all of their

customers so they can sign up online.

• Part of our monthly eNewsletter to our 2000+ opt-in subscribers.

Saturday, October 20 VS North Okanagan Knights

Saturday, December 1 VS Summerland Steam
