Ann Alexander Ann Alexander was born in North Georgia with a love for the beauful area landscapes. Throughout her life, she was always fascinated with the colors and changes that came with each season. When her nest emped, she started to paint in oils with classical instrucon from Mary Lydia McCrary. Alexander studied in workshops with several naonally acclaimed arsts including Marc Chatov, Roseta Sanago, Robert Johnson, Tom Browning, Ken Backhaus, Kevin MacPherson, Anne Blair Brown and Bill Davidson. She works in oils and is much influenced by the Old Masters. Her subjects include sll life, portraiture and plein air landscapes. Alexander’s work has been juried into local, state and naonal shows. Her painngs are in a number of collecons. She is a member of the Plein Air Fine Arts Associaon, Oil Painters of America, Women Painters of the Southeast, Georgia Art League and Quinlan Visual Arts Center. Ann lives in Gainesville, Georgia and paints at the Blue Angel Studio.
