Augustana College recently<br />
announced that more than<br />
1,000 students were named<br />
to the dean’s list for the 2018<br />
spring term. Students who<br />
have earned this academic<br />
honor have maintained a<br />
grade-point average of 3.5<br />
or higher on a 4-point scale<br />
for courses taken during the<br />
term.<br />

Criteria for earning dean’s<br />
list status include grade point<br />
averages that place the student<br />
among the top 10 percent<br />
of students majoring<br />
within an academic college at<br />
Illinois State.<br />
Undergraduates who meet<br />
high academic standards, as<br />
established by the college of<br />
their major, are included in a<br />
dean’s list issued each semester.<br />
Eligible students must<br />
complete 12 or more graded<br />
hours during the semester.<br />

to the dean’s list at John Carroll<br />
University for the Spring<br />
2018 semester.<br />
Students eligible for the<br />
dean’s list must have completed<br />
a minimum of 12<br />
semester hours within one<br />
semester and have a quality<br />
grade point average of at<br />
least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.<br />
Oregon State University<br />

among those on honor roll<br />
Names of students who<br />
have made the scholastic<br />
honor roll spring term 2018<br />
have been announced by Oregon<br />
State University.<br />
A total of 1,361 students<br />
earned straight-A grades<br />
(4.0). Another 4,261 earned<br />
a B-plus (3.5) or better to<br />
make the listing. To be on<br />
the honor roll, students must<br />
carry at least 12 graded hours<br />
of course work.<br />
