We need SKILLS HAVE A NEW EXPERIENCE Improve your skills! Community Learning are once again running a range of courses locally. Open to adults aged 19 and over. Come and learn in a friendly and supportive class. Sewing Workshops (from September 2018) Based at Faithspace we will be running workshops to make bunting and flags for the Redcliffe Autumn Festival in October. If you want to learn sewing skills, we will be running some free workshops to help you get creating and making for you, friends and family. Level 2 Award in Food Safety (November to December 2018) Are you working or volunteering where you may be handling food? Join this course and add a useful qualification to your CV. Free if on any means tested benefits and fee of £30.00 if not on benefits. The course will run over 5 weeks and have a free crèche. Booking is essential for course and crèche. Get Ready for Universal Credit Changes to people’s benefits mean that you may need some support to get online, especially if you are going onto Universal Credit. From the Autumn we will be running a series of workshops to help people get online, learn more about Universal Credit and find out how to ask for more support. I’m keen to meet and Redcliffe to local young people and parents to hear what different speak and services you want for young people in Redcliffe. projects are looking for equipment for youth projects in Redcliffe.
