Florida is accepting donations<br />
for school supplies for children<br />
attending grades K-12 in shelters<br />
and outreach programs. The most<br />
needed items are backpacks, binders,<br />
socks (black or white, all sizes),<br />
school uniforms and Walmart<br />
Inc. gift cards. Other supplies,<br />
such as pencils, loose leaf paper,<br />
graph paper, dry erase markers,<br />
composition notebooks, glue<br />
sticks, blue or black pens, highlighters,<br />
rulers, index cards and<br />
more, are also needed. Donations<br />
are requested by Aug. 11 to ensure<br />
that the children are prepared<br />
