I originally trained as an architect which perhaps explains my response to the places, shapes, colours and structures of Dartmoor and the surrounding valleys. In particular I have a fascination for the moorland field boundaries, hedges and stonewalls with trees stripped back to their skeletal structures bounding across the landscape. My work is best described as ‘graphic’ and ‘colourist’. No disabled access. North of Tavistock and just north of Brentor follow signs to Liddaton. At the bottom of the steep hill turn right to Coryton and after going over the iron railway bridge turn right down a dead end. Destination half a mile down on the right. Just before the road bends sharply into the trees you will see a track to your left running down behind the chevron sign, we are down the track.
