POLICIES AND PROCEDURES MANUAL
Morning Star Baptist Church
Gulfport, Mississippi
1) Maintain floors, dust furniture and equipment; wash walls and windows
and vacuum carpet according to scheduled.
2) Maintain clean restrooms and replenish supplies within.
3) Make request to church treasurer for maintenance supplies and
equipment as needed.
4) Prepare facilities for special use as requested of the church.
5) Perform other care responsibilities as assigned.
7. Standing Committees
a. Accountable: Pastor and Board of Deacons
b. Principle Function: Standings committees are permanent committee appointed
to deal with a specified subject or areas of responsibilities. The following shall be the
Standing Committees of Morning Star Baptist Church: Personnel, Policy, Security, and
Finance
c. Selection: Vacancies within the standing committee will be filled by the Board of
Deacon.
1) Whenever possible, no member should be assigned to serve on more than
one Standing Committee at the same time. Committee makeup should be representative of
the entire church, when possible. All committees should have a minimum of three members
and a total odd number of members.
2) Standing committees shall meet as necessary but not less than quarterly
and make regular reports at Business Meetings.
