POLICIES AND PROCEDURES MANUAL Morning Star Baptist Church Gulfport, Mississippi 2. Scheduled Church Meetings a. Church meetings are held as follows: Sunday School ........................................... 9:30 A.M. Morning Worship ........................................ 10:30 A.M. Sunday Communion ..........1st Sunday of each month at 10:30 a.m. Bible Study...........................Each Wednesday Night at 6:00 p.m. b. BUSINESS MEETINGS – Business Meetings are meetings held for the Congregation of the church to conduct the business of the church. Congregation/Members shall meet quarterly to conduct the business of the Church on Mondays at 7:00 p.m. after the first Sunday in January, April, July, and October. c. SPECIAL BUSINESS MEETINGS - Special business meetings may be called by the Pastor, the Chairman of the Board of Deacons or Chairman of the Trustees, whenever, in their discretion. Notice of such meetings and the purpose shall be given from the pulpit and/or published in the weekly Church bulletin on the two (2) consecutive Sundays immediately preceding the proposed meeting. d. These meetings are to be under the direction of the Pastor and/or deacons or conducted by a designated person appointed by the Pastor. 5 Adopted for Implementation by the membership, July 16, 2018

Qualifications and Guidelines for Leaders and Staff To serve in any leadership capacity of this church, it is necessary that you: a. Be a born-again believer in Christ. b. Be a member in good standing for membership of the Morning Star Baptist Church (See III, Membership, Sub-para 2. Active/Voting Members). c. Exemplify a Christian-lifestyle in and out of Morning Star Baptist Church. d. Be supportive of the doctrine, ministry, pastor, and members of this church. e. Possess a willingness to serve. f. Demonstrate faithfulness to obligation. 6 Adopted for Implementation by the membership, July 16, 2018
