g. Have a cooperative spirit.<br />

h. Attend leadership meetings as requested by the pastor, unless prior notice has<br />

been given.<br />

i. All leaders <strong>and</strong> staff should, as courtesy, notify the pastor, in advance, of<br />

activities of your ministry that involves members of this church.<br />

j. The Morning Star Baptist Church is your priority as it relates to other activities.<br />

Leaders <strong>and</strong> staff should not get involved in outside activities when such activities conflict<br />

with your responsibilities at Morning Star Baptist Church.<br />

k. When planning activities for your ministry or other activities, check the master<br />

calendar with the church secretary <strong>and</strong> contact the pastor to avoid conflicts with other<br />

activities.<br />

l. Leaders <strong>and</strong> staff are encouraged to take leadership training courses when such<br />

courses are offered. Those who refuse to participate in leadership training activities will be<br />

subject for re-evaluation as a church leader.<br />

m. Leaders <strong>and</strong> staff are expected to support annual church projects <strong>and</strong> programs<br />

with their presence <strong>and</strong> finances, such as, revivals, conferences, workshops, etc.<br />

n. Leaders <strong>and</strong> staff are expected to attend church business meetings.<br />

o. Leaders <strong>and</strong> staff are required to incorporate prayer in your ministry.<br />

p. Leaders <strong>and</strong> staff are expected to be in regular worship services (Sunday<br />

services, Sunday school <strong>and</strong> bible study) <strong>and</strong> are expected to Tithe (I Corinthians 16:2;<br />

Malachi 3:10); however, they must contribute at least $2,000.00 annually to hold appointed<br />

or selected positions. Annual giving exceptions will be made on an individual person by<br />

person consideration. Individuals who do not annually contribute $2,000.00 have the option<br />
