for us to
truly reflect the
life of Christ if we
remain at the gate of salvation. In order
for us to come into all that God has for us
our minds need to be transformed.
THE BATTLEFIELD
The question we ask ourselves is, ‘why do
our minds need to be transformed?’ The
answer to this question is that the devil
always attempts to fight our minds. Our
minds have become a battlefield and in
order for this to cease, we need our minds
to be renewed.

In the Bible we see various people who
fought a battle in their minds. Adam and
Eve had to fight in their minds when they
were confronted by the serpent; Elijah had
to fight a battle in his mind when Jezebel
threatened him; and Jesus fought a battle in
His mind when the devil tempted Him.
Paul states that
something happens
when we give our
lives to Christ.
New light shines
our way and we
are brought back
to God after being
alienated from Him.
(Ephesians 4:17-19)
Our minds need to
be transformed by

We need to be transformed
from a life of barrenness to
fruitfulness. We need to bear
fruit in Christ by reaching people
for Jesus. John 15:2 states that
if we are not fruitful He will cast
away: He cuts off every branch
in me that bears no fruit, while
every branch that does bear fruit
he prunes so that it will be even
more fruitful. We also need to
bear the fruit of character.
Our character should be changed
to a Christ-like character.
