ORMC is the first hospital with a Level 1 trauma center in the state to receive
Chest Pain Center Accreditation with PCI, Heart Failure Accreditation and Atrial
Fibrillation Certification, offered by the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care
(SCPC), now known as ACC Accreditation Services, an organization committed
to leading the fight to eliminate heart disease as the leading cause of death worldwide.
ORMC also received full Atrial Fibrillation with Electrophysiology Services
(EPS) Accreditation status from the SCPC, one of only two hospitals in Florida and
the only one in Central Florida to achieve this designation. Expanding its scope
of stroke care to provide higher-level treatment and advanced surgical options,
Orlando Health ORMC is recognized as a state-designated comprehensive stroke
center, treating both simple and complex cerebral vascular disorders. At Orlando

at the UF Health Cancer Center — Orlando Health, located directly adjacent

A native of Bogotá, Colombia, as a young man Michael M. Bibliowicz, D.O.,
FAOCOO, moved first to Miami, then to Gainesville and pursued a Bachelor
of Science at the University of Florida. He then went on to earn his Doctor of
Osteopathy with honors at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic
Medicine. He completed his internship and residence at OhioHealth Doctors
Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. In
1988, Dr. Bibliowicz moved to
Orlando and opened a solo practice.
As senior partner at Orlando,
Ear, Nose and Throat Associates PA,
he specializes in all areas of otolaryngology
and has interest in sinus
disease and rhinology. He is married
with four children and enjoys
watching his daughters dance and
his son swim competitively. He belongs
to the Pan-American Medical
Association.
