EUth Magazine


This is a magazine created collaboratively by young people from 11 different countries and youth leaders from 13 different countries during an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange called "We've More in Common than in Difference". The project had the goal to create a magazine that represents the conceptual framework of a United Europe, the steps towards a peaceful process of globalisation and information about Erasmus+ and how it support young people. The young people created different departments modelling a magazine, with a hierarchy, democratic processes and the participants put their differences aside and worked together for the same objective in just 7 days.
We've More in Common that in Difference, was an Erasmus+ funded, KA1 Youth Exchange supported by the Spanish National Agency that took place on the island of Gran Canaria from Monday July 30th to Sunday August 5th 2018 under project number: 2017-3-ES02-KA105-010532. The organisations involved were: 1) ULUDAG UNIVERSITY, TURKEY 5 youth and 1 youth leader
2) MITTETULUNDUSUHING VITATIIM, ESTONIA 5 youth and 1 youth leader
3) Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad, ROMANIA 5 youth and 1 youth leader
4) DRUSTVO ZA SPODBJANE RAZVOJA MLADIH CET PLATFORMA, Slovenia 5 youth and 1 youth leader
5) Udruga ZUM, Croatia, 5 youth and 1 youth leader
6) Young Folks LV, Latvia, 5 youth and 1 youth leader
7) Erasmus Student Network Thessaloniki, Greece, 5 youth and 1 youth leader
8) A.C.S.E.S.O, Spain, 8 youth and 4 youth leaders (Applicant and project managers). The mentors of this project were Paula Bolaños (A.C.S.E.S.O) , Spela Tezak (CET PLATFORMA, Slovenia) and Daniel Dixon (A.C.S.E.S.O) who used non formal learning methods to deliver the sessions of this youth exchange. Some of the sessions in group work included; "Independent and non independent media", "Who is our target group, using a funnel method", "Brainstorming activities" "What does the EU mean to me", "Project Management Skills", "Group Building Activity - desert island essentials". There were also many other activities during the week to foster good communication skills, ice breakers, energisers and time for reflection.
