IMPORTANT INDICATIONS 

Method of Printing: 

We work with the following methods of printing: 

Flexo printing (flexible materials) 

Pad printing (tins) 

Offset printing 

Digital printing 

In the above mentioned printing methods positioning deviations may occur due to technical 

grounds. 

Delivery time: 

The date/week of dispatch is considered as the delivery date or delivery week, this is not to 

be confused with the date/week of arrival. 

An arrival date/week cannot be confi rmed and is therefore not binding. Once the goods 

have been handed to our forwarding agent, the transit time required by our forwarding agent 

is not our responsibility. A forwarding agent may be stipulated by yourselves. 

A fixed delivery date can not be confirmed, however, in the case of a fixed delivery date we 

hold no responsibility for the forwarding agent. 

With flexo printing positioning deviations may occur in the motif up to 0,5 mm. 

Format of files: 

Preferably: Adobe Illustrator (CC), Adobe Photoshop (CC) or Adobe InDesign (CC). 

Also possible: Macromedia Freehand MX, Adobe Acrobat, CorelDraw (11), QuarkXPress (8). 

This will depend upon the date of printing approval from yourselves and not upon receipt of 

artwork. We will not print without any printing approval. No delivery time will be confi rmed 

without any printing approval. Any corrections made must be corrected by our appointed 

graphic designer. A new copy of the corrections will be sent to you for acceptance and must 

receive a fi nal approval before printing commences. 

Resolution / Fonts: 

Required resolution for motifs: minimum 300 dpi 

Required resolution for non-screen and screen motifs: 1200 dpi 

Please provide vectorized files. 

Corrections: 

Please read through the corrections thoroughly. If you cannot recognise a part of the copy 

please contact us. Once the text has been approved for printing we are not responsible for 

errors overlooked by yourselves. Approval for printing is a mandatory part of an order. 

Lettertypes: if not vectorized please provide the corresponding lettertype format file. 

In case of cancellation, costs incurred up to approval for printing are to be paid. 





Colours: 

We work partly with translucent colours. These translucent colours may not cover completely 

the surface below and a white under layer is often necessary to obtain the required colour. 

Please let us know the exact colour required. We work with HKS and Pantone colours. We do 

not work with RAL colours. We can approximate RAL colours (according to Pantone or HKS 

colours). Letterheads, business cards and brochures can be used as colour artwork. The print 

result may vary according to the material used. We will try to match colours, but do not take 

responsibility for the result obtained if detailed HKS or Pantone colours are not provided. 

Variations in the nuances of the Pantone and HKS colours are no grounds for a claim. 

Each motif and each product will be handled individually. It is not possible to assume all eventualities 

in written form. Here and in the technical data sheets is written basic information 

only, for which we cannot take full responsibility. We are happy to advise about the product 

and the motif. It is not possible to advise without the print motif, therefore the print motif is 

required before any offer advice is offered. 

No film or artwork is to be prepared with a raster motif without prior consultation. 

A copy of the motif as colour artwork is required when data is sent digitally. The colours have 

to be colour binding. Printing is not possible without paper artwork or colour binding artwork. 

Regulations for food tracing: 

Since December 13, 2014 the rules of EU-regulation 1169/2011 concerning the Food Information 

Regulation (LMIV) have to be observed. This regulation includes the ingredients list, 

the labeling of allergens, the product name (within the visual area), the net quantity (within the 

visual area), the best before date as well as the full name and address of the distributor. All 

legal requirements have to be printed clearly and readably with a minimum font size of 1,2 mm 

related to the letter „x“. As soon as the maximum surface area of the packaging is less than 80 

cm², the minimum font size is 0,9 mm. Concerning smallest packaging - that is less than 10 

cm² for the maximum surface area - only the most important legal requirements (such as the 

product name, the net quantity, the best before date) have to be mentioned - however in the 

font size of 0,9 mm related to the small x. 

Delivery quantity variations: 

Variations in the quantity delivery of up to 10% may occur. This is unavoidable. 

Perishable foods: 

Perishable foods are non returnable. Please inspect the merchandise upon receipt and 

inform us immediately or within 24 hours if there is a problem. 

Subsequent claims cannot be accepted. As soon as the goods leave our premises, they are 

no longer our responsibility. Neither qualitative nor legal responsibility can be taken concerning 

the food. 

Colours variations for reprints may occur due to technical grounds and are unavoidable. 

Variations in the nuances of the Pantone and HKS colours will not be recognised as part of a 

claim. 

Two corrections may be made at no extra cost. In the case of a third or more correction we 

have the right to charge a fixed amount. We recommend you contact us before the production 

of the print files. Therefore unnecessary costs will be avoided. 

Assistance can be offered throughout layout proposals. An offer concerning these costs will 

be made after the calculation of expenditure. 

An original print samples is possible, this will be charged according to the motif. However, a 

print sample will delay delivery time. 

Claims: 

Claims have to be proved. A minimum amount of 10% of the entire quantity of an order must 

be affected and returned in the original packaging. In the case of a print claim, 10% of the 

entire quantity of an order must also be affected and returned in the original packaging. 

Claims concerning the fl avour and the constitution of the foods will only be accepted if the 

goods have been kept and stored correctly. Please contact us concerning the latest date of 

consumption and other important facts. 

It should be noted for example that foods such as chocolate should be stored at room 

temperature and jellies are sensitive to heat and humidity. 

Our products are either packed according to weight or are counted. The quantity variation 

per carton depends on the machine and the products. The final quantity is controlled. In 

case of irregularities per carton, please check the final quantity supplied.

Terms and Conditions of Sales and any further enquiries you may have. 

We ask for your patience if a slight delay occurs in response to your enquiries. We believe it 

is important to have time for all our customers and to satisfy their wishes and requirements.

Damage or Loss: 

Damage due to transit and delivery are to be noted on the consignment note upon receipt of 

the goods and are to be confirmed and signed by the carrier. Pallet damages which have not 

been noted on the consignment note cannot be considered as shipping damages. Attention 

should be made upon delivery of the packaging. Irregularities are to be noted and photographed 

immediately.
