SWLA Sickle Cell Incorporated,<br />

is a non-pr<strong>of</strong>it organization.<br />

<strong>The</strong> mission is to enhance the<br />

quality <strong>of</strong> life for persons with<br />

Sickle Cell Disease, their families, and<br />

the community through education,<br />

networking, guidance, and referral <strong>of</strong><br />

needs to support services. <strong>The</strong> local and<br />

current Foundation has been working in<br />

this community for more than 13 years.<br />

<strong>The</strong> local <strong>of</strong>fice, Board <strong>of</strong> Directors, and<br />

volunteers have dedicated thousands <strong>of</strong><br />

hours to ensure that the community is<br />

kept informed.<br />
