09 Year 7 pupils visit

09 Year 7 pupils visit the University of Oxford During project week 70 lucky year 7 students had the opportunity to experience university life through our annual trip to Oxford University. With a two day jam-packed itinerary, we started our time at Warwick Castle and a fun afternoon of bowling, followed by a meal at Pizza Express. After a well deserved sleep and a huge breakfast, we travelled to Oxford. The trip was a huge success with pupils spending time learning about history at Warwick Castle and later travelling to Oxford University for a Spanish workshop with University lecturers. Students participated in a Spanish music workshop where they wrote their own Spanish summer hits and also completed a language poetry session analysing the visual effects of language. All pupils worked really hard and participated lots during the sessions producing some excellent work. The trip enabled them to experience real lecture and seminar rooms and explore the colleges of Oxford University. A huge well done to all the students involved for their endeavour and professionalism. We even had comments from the public on how smart and professional we were. Some people even took photos of us in the street they were so impressed! An amazing trip had by all, we can't wait to do it again next year! “A huge well done to all the students involved for their endeavour and professionalism”
