Season’s Eatings<br />
Sally Allan, Owner, Sally’s Fish Camp<br />
At the time of writing, Sally’s Fish Camp was well into<br />
the throws of festival season. It was our first ‘proper’<br />
summer season and we managed to bag ourselves a<br />
pitch at some of Dorset’s favourite festivals and fairs.<br />
With the balmy weather we’ve had this summer,<br />
deliveries to the beach increased dramatically. Did it<br />
have anything to do with the amazing exposure we<br />
received at the Pommery Dorset Seafood Festival<br />
in Weymouth and, soon after, at Dorset Food & Arts<br />
Festival in Poundbury, I wondered? Whatever it is that<br />
keeps customers coming back, I do know that,<br />
undoubtedly, I have the best pick of premium shellfish<br />
and am jolly lucky to be able to prepare such simple-yetmouthwatering<br />
food. I also have the most wonderful,<br />
supportive family behind me. Together we’re making<br />
mountains of fun memories and, little do they know, they<br />
are helping me fulfil my seafood dream.<br />
We’ve had incredible feedback from new and returning<br />
customers. All our hard work getting Sally’s Fish Camp<br />
out there is paying off and the concept is really starting<br />
to take shape. Delivering seafood and presenting it<br />
on ice - or simply wrapped and bagged - wherever our<br />
customer has set up their ‘fish camp’ is a pleasure, and<br />
