About <strong>CDI</strong> <strong>Lier</strong> Jorinde Verwimp about <strong>CDI</strong> 4* <strong>Lier</strong> 2018<br />
<strong>CDI</strong> <strong>Lier</strong> <strong>2019</strong> will be the third edition of the<br />
exciting dressage event. The organisation has<br />
set itself as mission to attract the international<br />
dressage top to <strong>Lier</strong>.<br />
To achieve this they have engaged the<br />
international dressage rider and trainer Wim<br />
Verwimp as show director. He is supported by<br />
Joyce Lebon (organisation) and Annemiek van<br />
der Vorm (secretariat). They know exactly what<br />
a top-level event requires!<br />
Next year <strong>CDI</strong> <strong>Lier</strong> will be lifted to an even<br />
higher level. Expectations are that many wellknown<br />
names from the international dressage<br />
top will enter, just as in the previous editions.<br />
With its large number of international competitors, the second edition of the up-and-coming dressage competition<br />
<strong>CDI</strong> 4* <strong>Lier</strong>, was a great success. The tribunes were packed and everyone was full of praise. I think that I speak for all<br />
the riders if I say that in terms of organisation and accommodation it was definitely a top competition!<br />
The great atmosphere meant that it was<br />
a super competition to take part in. <strong>CDI</strong><br />
<strong>Lier</strong> is a real asset to Belgium. It is very<br />
positive that our country has an additional<br />
international competition. We have a number<br />
of good combinations, so we can really make<br />
ourselves more known as a dressage country!<br />
The date for the competition in <strong>Lier</strong> was wellplanned:<br />
it fitted into the schedules of both<br />
national and international riders.<br />
Just like the organisation, I have big plans for<br />
the future of the four-star event. Hopefully<br />
<strong>Lier</strong> can grow into a five-star event next year<br />
and attract even more top names. <strong>CDI</strong> <strong>Lier</strong><br />
just keeps getting better!<br />
