Maverick Partner Appreciation
By Landon Stogner
As the saying goes, “I couldn’t have done it without
you.” That surely holds true with all of the events
we do, whether it’s driving tours and rallies, drivers’
education, tech sessions, or monthly dinners and coffee
socials. None of those events would be a success without
the teamwork of our club volunteers and advertising
partners.
To give our appreciation
for all of the hard work
throughout the year, we held
our First Annual Maverick
Partner Appreciation
Celebration. Thanks again to
one of our sponsors, Park Place
Porsche, for being gracious
enough to open up their Dallas
dealership for this first event,
which allowed our
Maverick Region
Board to play host
to a casual buffet
breakfast. We
had 50 attendees
from our group
of 73 volunteers
and 36 advertisers
join us Saturday,
September 15 for
a country style
breakfast which
included all the
trimmings, from
fresh fruit and eggs
to biscuits and gravy. All thanks to Low Country Cuisine
for providing the food, a Bubbly Bar of different flavored
Mimosas, and of course coffee and juices.
This was just a way for us to give a big Thank You
to our members who volunteer to be early and stay late
at our events to help setup, parking, and cleanup as well
as for all of the behind the scenes organization that goes
into coordinating each and every event.
All of our events have grown in size over the years,
so another big Thank You goes to our advertisers, who
Each of our
volunteers
and
advertisers
departed with a personalized Certificate of Appreciation
and a limited edition car window decal.
It cannot be said enough: Thank You to all for what
you do. If you’d like to assist in future events, please
reach out to our Volunteer or Advertising Chairs to find
out how you can help. As always, Driving Friendships
is Fueled by Volunteers.
