Each of episode deals with a different theme.<br />
They all look at myths and stories from across<br />
ancient history and cover a wide range of<br />
Western cultures and traditions.<br />
As an author I was intrigued to learn how<br />
many ‘hero’ stories are created to a particular<br />
Myths and Monsters is a documentary series that tells<br />
the stories that have gripped imaginations for centuries<br />
and reveals the fascinating and unexpected history<br />
behind them.<br />
I was hooked from the start. I have always had a love<br />
of myths, whether they be of dragons or Little Red<br />
Riding Hood. They have a power over us which is<br />
sometimes difficult to explain.<br />
I am not a fan of television, and rarely sit through an<br />
entire program, never mind about a series, but Myths<br />
and Monsters got me hooked.<br />
The graphics are stunning and hold the imagination.<br />
They are interspersed with interviews from experts<br />
explaining the original stories that many of us are
