Editor's message

Dear Neighbours,

It might not be as warm as it was back in

July, but we certainly cannot complain

about the weather this year. It has been a

‘scorcio’ of a summer and the spring wasn’t bad

either. So, if it is still warm in September and

October, get one of our advertisers to do the job

that needs doing while you go out (or stay in!)

and enjoy yourself. Soak up the Indian Summer

sun, go for a walk (why not use John Prior’s

excellent guide to local walks, ‘Weekend Walks

South of Oxford’ to give you some tips?), get to

know your neighbours or perhaps read a book?

The shorter days will come sooner than you

think, and then it will be time for the bonfire

If you are reading this before the 1st week of

October, you still have time to register and take

part in Muddy Mayhem! It’s on 7th October.
