unique circuit event, putting
the garden to bed for

Spooky Pooch Parade
11 a.m.-1 p.m. Oct. 20,
Chicago Botanic Garden,
1000 Lake Cook Road,
Glencoe. For two very
special hours only, dogs
are allowed in the Chicago
Botanic Garden. Cleverly
costumed canines march
the parade route to celebrate
Halloween. Spectators
are invited to line the
parade route for a barking
good time.

Laurie Petersen, a Winnetka-based
architectural
historian, will give a slide
presentation on Chicago
buildings with delightfully
different design inspirations.
Ms. Petersen is the
editor of the AIA Guide to
Chicago, which features
over 1800 buildings in the
city.

barriers will protect
you from the competition,
but you will need quick reflexes
to win! Each player
will receive a Nerf blaster,
