DIRECTIONS
You can drive to Croc Valley with a normal 2 wheel drive during dry season, perhaps more safe to use a
4x4 during raining season. By road from Lilongwe in Malawi will take about 4-6 hours, by road from Lusaka
will take about 9-12 hours. Both routes go via Chipata in Zambia. The 125 km route from Chipata
to Mfuwe is tarmac road now. There is no petrol station in between .
We can also arrange road transfers for you from Malawi, the Malawi/Zambia border or from Chipata.
Flying from Lusaka or Livingstone can be the quickest and most comfortable way to reach us. During high
season Proflight Zambia runs 2-3 daily flights to Mfuwe airport, during low season 1 flight on most week
days. See: www.proflight-zambia.com
We are a Proflight parner and can also arrange your flight and airport transfers. Please tell us your
time of arrival so that we can pick you up from Mfuwe airport. CrocValley Camp is only about a 30
minute drive from the airport, a fascinating journey through villages and bush.
