We have had a glorious summer, though some of our landscape suffered for a while from the effects of the intense and prolonged heat, and is now thankfully recovered before we embark on the transition through autumn to the year end. ‘Soon we will plunge ourselves into cold shadows, and all of summer's stunning afternoons will be gone.’ (Charles Baudelaire). Autumn is the perfect time to enjoy the changing landscape of P&TG, and to enjoy the many local walks, or a stroll through the woods. Go to page 6 & 7 where you can see who were the winners of the various classes, and examine some of the fantastic photos of the event. We also have news of upcoming village events - notably The Sports & Social Club hosting their fabulous Fireworks Display on Saturday 10th November 2018, as well as our regular updates from the many clubs and societies in the villages. After the Fireworks, the emphasis will be to prepare for Christmas! Our next edition will be our Christmas and New Year edition, so please do think about sharing your news, and photos, especially of the past year, or any details of events you may be planning for 2019.
