As Scoot’s very first Airbus 320neo aircraft delivered from Toulouse in France, it made its maiden flight on 29 October <strong>2018</strong> as TR610 departing from Singapore for Bangkok. The new fuel-efficient and eco-friendly aircraft signifies the start of our narrow-body fleet renewal strategy to better serve Scoot’s short-to-medium haul network in Asia and offer customers more budget-friendly fares by keeping our unit costs low. At Scoot, we also believe there is more to keeping our customers happy than with just low fares, which is why we are devoted to improving the Scoot customer experience as well as innovating to offer you greater value through our products and services. So far, our efforts have paid off! Scoot scored 75.4 out of 100 points - the highest attained by a low-cost carrier - in the Customer Satisfaction Index of Singapore <strong>2018</strong> conducted by Singapore Management University’s Institute of Service Excellence. This is an increase of 3.5 points year-on-year and affirms that we are on the right track! We’ve heard your calls to allow longer lounge access as part of our Scoot-in- Style package. Therefore since October, customers with a longer connection time in Singapore may now choose to Scoot-in-Style by selecting the new 6-hour transit lounge access option for Scoot flights departing Singapore. Located at the SATS Premier Lounge in Changi Airport, Terminal 2, sit back and relax in the lounge with shower facilities, massage chairs and refreshments while waiting for your flight.
