Gas station reportedly robbed
Staff Report
A Frankfort gas station reportedly
was robbed by two
men in the early morning of
Nov. 26, according to the
Will County Sheriff’s Office.
An employee at the Speedway
located at 19730 S.
Harlem Ave. told police two
black male individuals entered
the store at about 1:25
a.m. and approached the employee,
who was behind the
counter. One of the individuals
allegedly said “Give me
all you got” and might have
had a gun in the pocket of his
sweatshirt.
The employee handed over
a small amount of cash from
the register while the second
individual reportedly stood
near the counter with a semiautomatic
handgun. The two
subjects subsequently left the
store on foot.
The employee was unharmed.
The Will County Sheriff's
Office did not immediately
respond to the Station's requests
for more information.
