Gradually the concept core family is being rejected in favor of recognition of a huge
variety and diversity of family form. For a long time, family experts (doctors, psychologists,
sociologists, lawyers, etc.) have insisted on the fact that there is only one "healthy family"
way of life: keeping marriage at all costs, forcing parents / husbands to keep their wives
and children, forcing mothers / wives to take care of their children at first place and put
anything else in the background.
This Master's Degree in Family, Childhood and Adolescence Law offered by the
Universidad de Oriente, is an important tool that will provide students with the necessary
skills to understand and deal efficiently and in accordance with the constitutional laws.
That will allow them to participate in solutions to the legal and social problems that our
family, children and adolescents face in our country, in order to achieve a more inclusive,
equitable and just society.
