Please place your bins out on the kerbside the night
your property as soon as possible after they have
been emptied.
Remember at Christmas to try think about the
environment and adopt the waste hierarchy of
avoid, reuse, recycle and finally dispose.
How to have a Wastewise Christmas
• Buy good quality decorations that can be reused
• Make your own greeting cards from recycled paper
• Give useful, practical gifts that won’t break easily
• Use newspaper or fabric to wrap your presents
