The upgrade of The Admiral’s Course was completed in 2018 with the final bunkers reshaped and a new 14 th green
built that allows the existing 16 th to be dropped out. The new 7 th and 8 th hole arrangement also opened for play this
year, the 8 th being a short downhill par three that replaces a steep uphill and blind par three, which cannot be bad.
Sitting on the same soil as county neighbours Notts, Coxmoor and Sherwood Forest, Oakmere now offers interesting
and varied holes that cater well for all standard of players. It is well worth a visit when in the area.
