what is the NASTRO ROSA?

The arrival in Italy of a famous format born in France with the name of Tour de

France in Voile.

Ideally in September, it will touch some of the most beautiful Italian coasts,

offering great entertainment in sports sailing and social contents.

What is the format?

Modern revisiting of past experience, developed by importing the French experience

of the Tour in Voile.

Designed to offer a very high level of media visibility and a high technical level with

limited identifiable and “turn-key” investments.

A tour consisting of:

1 week in a clinic on Lake Garda (the same one for the whole team), supported by

expert yachtsmen of Diam24 to offer everybody the same chance to win).

1 brief prologue dedicated to the media and sponsors (TBD Idroscalo Milan)

6 legs in 2 weeks with stadium races, coast regattas and batons.

1 interactive village with the public and dedicated to sponsors (of the teams and of the

circuit).

With which vessel?

Performing “one design” Diam24 trimarans in the “hire” or “property” formula.

Fast in the sea and also in “rig up” and in “rig down”, easy and cheap to transport using

“mini containers” (supplied by the organization” and with one’s own road trolley,

offering unique practicality in terms of use.

Must the crew always be the same during the Nastro Rosa?

No, its members can change from one stop to the next, only the “main team” must

always be the same for the entire Nastro Rosa.


What are the classifications and how do they work?

The teams will be registered for all of the tour and should participate in all legs in

order to receive final classification.

The hands may change from one leg to another but one person in charge, even if he

is not a regatta member must be identified and always present in all legs.

The various classifications will be extracted from the general one.

For example, the “xxx team” will take part in all legs (four with a ship owner at the

wheel and two with other hands or helmsman) and reaches 3 rd position can win the

special classification of “PRO AM” because in the four leg race with Corinthian ship

owner at the wheel, he was the best.

The following classifications exist at the moment in the project:

- Classification of the Overall Team

- Classification of the Pro AM team* (classification extracted from the general

classification based on the 4 legs carried out at weekends and reserved to the

Corinthian ship owners)

- Classification of under-25 Teams

- Classification of the “Rosa” Team

Are cash prizes planned?

Yes, the amount is to be defined.

What is the logic of costs for the teams?

Containment counterbalanced with the media related values expressed by Nastro

Rosa.

Furthermore a centralized “turn-key” logistic service is included in the registration

free/charter that will allow for maximum use of all transport synergies of the vessels

in hotel management etc.

The objective is to make sure that the teams only have to worry about the regatta!

Which media related structure can the teams count on?

Gazzetta dello Sport is the media partner of excellence that guarantees important

basic coverage, to which each single team and sponsors can add personalized

activities at special conditions.

There will also be TV coverage and web streaming as well as professional

photographic material available to the teams and free from rights.

On the basis of proven previous experience, we expect a return of counter value in

visibility (R.O.I.) of at least 1:4.

What is the agonistic level? How many teams are expected to take part?

There are more than 35 international teams in activities in the World Diam Tour, at

least 6 of which have already confirmed their interest in participating in the Nastro

Rosa “The Italian Tour”. In Italy there are at least 4 Diam 24. Starting from this positive

figure, our objective is to start off on the first edition with a number of teams of no less

than 10 (we are thinking of 12 vessels taking part).

How are the teams formed abroad and who supports them?

Yachtsmen with the most varied experience, supported by Yacht Clubs that promote

their agonistic activities and the regions or cities that they belong to, commercial

sponsors, single ship owners, consortiums consisting of the participants of the teams

through the “pro quota” undersigning of the necessary budget.


How much does it cost to participate in Nastro Rosa 2019?

Entry Fee Nastro Rosa 2019:

10.000€+VAT

including Vessel insurance for the entire period of the Nastro

Rosa, Hotel booking service.

Rent: a Diam 24 od of no more than one year old, the supply of new sails

and complete equipment according to class rules. Price 13.500€+VAT

Charter time: 30 days including “clinic” and regatta days.

Transport for all legs of the Nastro Rosa 2019 + Assistance: during the

installation and dismantling phases by dedicated staff in all legs (only one

hands member is requested). Price: 11.000€+VAT

Personalisation of artwork on the boats, sails and Dbox (transport

container) according to team indications. Price: 7.500€+VAT

Rent-to-Buy at the end of Nastro Rosa 2019

At the end of the tour each team can purchase the vessel used by adding

from €25.00,00+VAT to €37,000 + VAT depending of the age of the boat,

not older than a year (Price for a new Diam 24: 49.000€ - 12.000€ discount based

on the value of the rental already made. Formula based on the cost of a new boat.)

What is not included in the package?

At the moment, board and lodging and transfer of the hands (an estimated cost of

12,000 € for 4 people).

We are working on these elements in order to reach advantageous rates in the various

locations.


Why should I buy the Diam24 after Nastro Rosa?

In order to take part in the World Diam Tour (4 tour), with a personalized vessel,

prepared for your team and to win the Nastro Rosa 2020.

What can I do immediately after Nastro Rosa 2019?

Take part in the World Diam Tour, a range of 4 tours, of which Nastro Rosa is the

Italian leg.

THE BOAT

DIAM 24 od - Multihull Sportboat

One design

Quick to arm, fitted with an electric engine, new sails, new equipment, it navigates in

all conditions of the sea and wind and is suitable fore coastal regattas, trailerable and

with a carbon shaft in two parts.
